Problem: Why do I get a Copy Protection Fault error message when I try to activate?
Cause: A Copy Protection Fault (CPF) will normally appear when you attempt to activate the software beyond the number of licenses in your subscription. Trying to activate on additional computers will result in a CPF error. When this occurs your account will be locked for 6 hours. After 6 hours, you can activate another machine.
Resolution: Ensure you have not activated TELUS security services on more computers than your subscription allows. If you have, free a license by shutting down TELUS security services on one of the computers. Then wait 6 hours and start TELUS security services on the additional computer.
If this is not the case, and TELUS security services isn't activated on more machines than your subscription allows, then delete your cookies and verify your Internet Explorer settings, delete the activation files and retry the activation.
