Question: I have difficulties downloading TELUS security services with Microsoft Windows Vista. What should I do?

 

Answer:

 

  1. Go to http://www.mytelus.com/internet/security/download.vm
  2. Select your province.
  3. Accept the End User License Agreement by enabling  the checkbox, then click Accept.
  4. Click the Download button when the Download page appears
  5. Click Run when the File Download – Security Warning message appears.
  6. Click Run once again when the Internet Explorer – Security Warning message appears.
  7. Click Continue when the User Account Control warning appears.
  8. Right click the yellow bar showing in Internet Explorer and select Run ActiveX. Then click Run once again
  9. Click OK on the confirmation message.
  10. Click Allow when the Internet Explorer security warning will appear.
  11. The eProtect Advisor download process will be initiated.
  12. Click Continue when the download completes, the User Account Control warning will appear once again before starting eProtect download process.
