Question: What is the TELUS security services Status page and how do I use it?

Answer: The Status  page displays a list of all issues that affect your security status. Issues are divided into the following sections:

  • At Risk lists issues that leave your computer at risk. We strongly recommend you fix such issues.
  • Potential Risk lists issues that, if left undone, do not put your computer at immediate risk, but we recommend you fix such issues anyway so that your computer is fully protected.
  • Ignored lists issues that are currently not influencing the security rating. If you decide that a particular issue doesn't apply to you, you can click Ignore to move the issue to the Ignored list
  • Protected highlights the security features that are turned on and protecting your computer.
