Question: CoreServiceShell.exe uses up more than half of my CPU resources, how can I correct that?

Answer: There is a HotFix available for this. However, before running the hotFix, check the following:

  1. Check for conflicting software, remove any found.
  2. Check the system resources. Are there any other applications running which are also using large amounts of CPU resources?
  3. Check for malware, the PC must be malware-free before proceeding.
  4. If the remedies above have been attempted and the issue persists, download this HotFIx :
  5. Run the HotFix.
  6. Reboot the PC.
